“Suddenly, we saw sales increase”: these French wines with a great future, still between 10 and 50 euros

There are enthusiasts who dream of building an ambitious cellar . Others who see wine primarily as the prospect of a return on investment, or who seek to indulge in the thrill of discovering the future gems of French vineyards. To guide them in their choices, the wine auction market is the only one capable of distinguishing the estates whose bottles remain accessible today, but which are promised a strong price increase tomorrow. All French regions have been scrutinized by iDealwine, the world leader in online wine auctions. With, for each, the identification of estates still under the radar, but whose appearances in recent sales have systematically caused an overbidding rate of at least 15%. In other words, those whose interest is felt to be emerging by the greatest wine connoisseurs on the planet, revealed by Le Figaro. BurgundyFirst things first, Burgundy is the auction champion. The leading region in terms of value, it represents 45% of the total proceeds for 2024. Star estates like Romanée-Conti are literally driving the auctions through the roof, and thus the entire region, which is now (almost) untouchable.
